Bio-methane: A competitive alternative
Biogas is a renewable energy resource consistent with the existing agricultural
policies and energy
needs of the country. Currently Biogas represents
about 4% of the total renewable energy
produced in Italy.
Biogas is
conventionally used for power generation and recovering, where it is possible,
a fraction of thermal energy. Alternatively, biogas can be converted into
Bio-methane.
The process of Biogas refining must be profitable even in absence of green certificates and
analogous and technologically competitive with the traditional power generator (CHP
units). Bio-methane technology must guarantee reliability for agricultural
sector, in total respect of the environment and conform with the Italian market
reality.
HST Bio-methane
technology is based on each one of these premises, it is an innovative solution
result of an intelligent combination of mature technologies; chemical agents
are not required and the operative and maintenance efforts are low. In brief, a robust
and competitive technology.
