EngiCoin

On June 28th and 29th the Project Committee Meeting was held at the Environment Park in Turin, with a
visit to the Hysytech Biomethane plant realized in partnership with ACEA Pinerolese industriale S.p.A.
EngiCoin is a Horizon 2020 project that aims at the development of an integrated platform for the
production of value-added chemicals (acetone, lactic acid, “PHA” bioplastic), exploiting CO2 sources by
biological processes, realized in partnership with: Istituto Italiano di tecnologia; Asja Ambiente Italia Spa;
Photanol; Krajete GmbH; Hydrogenics; Biopolis S.L.; Universiteit van Amsterdam; Kungliga Tekniska
Högskolan; Università di Nottingham; CSIC Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas.
