"EU Gateway to Korea": a success for HYSYTECH

HYSYTECH has been part of the fourth "EU Gateway to Korea \ Business Avenues Mission", that took place in Seoul From 3rd to 7th of February, focused on Green Energy Technologies. The EU Gateway Programme is an initiative funded by EU that helps companies form the 28 EU countries to establish long-lasting business partnerships in Korea.

"It has been a busy week - declares HYSYTECH's business developer, Andres Saldivia-. We met a lot of people focused on hydrogen generation in Korea, we've been part of an excellent group of UE companies and, moreover, an incredible group of people from each corner of the EU. I've personally enjoyed from both professional and personal point of view. I thank the EU Business mission for all the excellent support and outstanding organization".

The Korean event proved to be an important moment for expanding HYSYTECH's presence in the Asian market, in particular for the hydrogen generation sector for transport.

South Korea is amongst the leading countries -along with China, Japan, Germany and the U.S.- to develop hydrogen as a clean energy source. The South Korean government is in fact actively implementing a plan, called "Hydrogen Economy Roadmap of Korea", which plans to set up over 300 hydrogen refueling stations for vehicles across the country by 2022.

Thanks to the participation in the "EU Gateway to Korea", HYSYTECH has laid the foundations for playing an important role in the supply of the hydrogen generator to the companies who will set up the refueling stations.
