Artificial photosynthesis: the LICROX project

On 1st October, the partners of LICROX project (EU H2020) have been met on-line to discuss the progresses and achievements done in these 12 months from the start of the project.

In LICROX it will be fabricated and tested a photoelectrochemical cell (PEC), an artificial photosynthesis device for converting sunlight, water and carbon dioxide (CO2) into carbon-based molecules containing C1 or C2, capable of storing chemical energy.

HYSYTECH is the leader of the task 5.4 "Validation of the PEC prototype" and it is responsible for the design, engineering, scale-up, manufacturing and validation of the LICROX TRL5 PEC prototype.
