PROMISERS - The development of innovative materials

The PROMISERS project consortium convened for its 12-month progress meeting on January 29-30 at the CELFION facilities in Stockholm. The meeting brought together project partners to review key milestones and align on the next pashes of this important initiative.

The PROMISERS project (EU Horizon Europe) is dedicated to the development of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS)-free materials, including advanced membranes and electrodes for Proton Exchange Membrane (PEM) electrolysers and fuel cells.

Throughout the meeting, the consortium engaged in highly productive and insightful discussions on the progress and future development of these innovative materials. Participants also had the opportunity to visit CELFION's facilities, gaining valuable insights into ongoing research and manufacturing capabilities.

As part of the project, HYSYTECH will design and build PEM electrolyzers and fuel cells, along with electrochemical test benches to assess the performance of these innovative materials. This marks a significant advancement in green hydrogen technologies, contributing to more sustainable energy management.
