A new Biogas upgrading and Biomethane liquefaction plant in Sweden

We present the Biogas upgrading (350 Nm³/h) and Biomethane liquefaction plant for the production of Bio-LNG (4 tpd) that HYSYTECH built for Harnosand Energi & Miljo AB, Sweden.

Bio-LNG is produced from MBW (Municipal Biowaste) collected in neighboring areas.

The LNG is delivered at temperatures down to -155°C and 1 barg for use as a biofuel in the transportation sector.

HYSYTECH handled the entire turnkey project: design, construction, commissioning, and start-up of the plant, including the Bio-LNG storage and loading system (tank and pump), spare parts, and maintenance services.

The liquefaction equipment was supplied by Stirling Cryogenics, a Dutch company belonging to the same group and a global specialist in cryogenic technology.
